My main social activity is dancing, esp. contra dance, English country dance, and swing. I'm a great music lover, especially of classical music (I was a classical DJ for nine years). I am a fan of transportation machinery of all kinds, have a collection of cars and motorcycles. I'm a hiker, backpacker, photographer, licensed pilot. I would like to become a good pianist, 'cellist, and to fly a Mustang.

I was educated as a physicist, and in the field of aerospace. Worked, and still work as a consultant in the computer industry.
